Paesano Olive Oil.

Having worked in fine dining, I learned there are olive oils you can spend $$$$$ on that are incredible. BUT, if you're looking for an affordable olive oil with all the flavor, I recommend Paesano Olive Oil. As always, I wouldn't use heat while cooking with olive oil. If you're looking for a cooking oil, I'd use avocado oil. Paesano Olive Oil is a high-quality extra-virgin olive oil produced in Sicily, Italy. It is made from 100% Nocellara del Belice olives, which are grown and harvested in the Belice Valley in western Sicily. The olives are cold-pressed within 24 hours of harvesting to preserve their fresh, fruity flavor and retain their nutritional value.

Noi Sirius Icelandic Chocolate Sea Salt 70%

I'm very particular when it comes to chocolate, as I eat it every day, and there are very few brands who impress me. Noi Sirius Icelandic Chocolate has been added to my recommendation list. Their flavors are great, however I personally enjoy the 70% sea salt variety. It's is a high-quality dark chocolate that is produced in Iceland. It is made with 70% cocoa solids, which gives it a rich, intense flavor that is both bitter and sweet. The addition of sea salt adds a savory note that balances the sweetness of the chocolate. I eat it most nights after dinner and I also enjoy gifting these chocolate bars. Keep in mind the packaging is a bit misleading as you get two bars of chocolate in each, not one.

Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt

This is the only salt chefs use, besides finishing salt, and I'm being serious. Go into any fine dining restaurant and I guarantee this is the salt they are using in their kitchens. Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt is heavily used by chefs because it has several properties that make it ideal for cooking and seasoning food.

  1. Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt has a coarse texture, which makes it easy to sprinkle and distribute evenly over food.
  2. It has a clean, pure taste, with no additives or anti-caking agents.
  3. It is a kosher-certified salt, which means that it meets strict standards of purity and quality. Kosher salt is also typically less processed than table salt, which means it retains more of its natural mineral content and flavor.

Insulated Coffee Press

There are a million fancy ways to enjoy coffee, but I'm pretty basic and love an insulated french press. I like this one because its stainless steel, dishwasher safe and keeps my coffee hot for several hours. If you haven't tried adding cinnamon to your coffee grounds, while making a french press coffee, it's incredible. This BAYKA French Press also comes with a milk frother.

Lacrosse Balls for Myofascial Release

As someone who struggles with chronic back pain, I try to spend a couple moments a day rolling on a lacrosse ball. Surprisingly they work and help relieve tension. If you go to a gym, I've handed these out as gifts to my gym friends :).
