No-Bake Nutella Collagen Chewy Oat Bars

An incredibly simple bar to make that is great for a snack or breakfast on-the-go. 

Ingredients 

  • 3 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup chocolate hazelnut spread (or Nutella)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 2 scoops collagen protein powder

Instructions 

  • Melt the coconut oil.
  • Warm the chocolate hazelnut spread in a small bowl by microwaving for about 30 seconds. This should not be hot but just warm enough to help everything mix together. Add the melted coconut oil and collagen powder. Mix until combined. The collagen powder will make it a little bit gritty but will dissolve later.
  • In a large bowl add the oats, rice crispy cereal, chocolate hazelnut spread mixture and honey. Mix until all combined.
  • Pour the mixture in an 8 in. by 8 in. square baking pan. Spread and push oat mixture down evenly. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight or for a couple hours before cutting into squares. Enjoy!
