Warm Goat Cheese & Peach Wrap
Goat cheese is warmed with sweet, ripe peaches and drizzled with honey. Toasted coconut and pistachios add a delicious crunch and the crushed red pepper a spicy kick. Summer's fresh basil provides the perfect garnish and pairs perfectly with the goat cheese and peaches. It's sweet, tangy and satisfying while all bundled up in your favorite wrap.
Time: 5-10 minutes
Ingredients
- your favorite tortilla/wrap
- goat cheese
- honey
- pistachios
- crushed red pepper flakes
- toasted coconut flakes
- ripe peaches
- fresh basil
Instructions
- Lay your favorite wrap on a cast iron pan on low heat. Top with the ingredients on one half of the wrap. Crumble goat cheese, a drizzle of honey, a couple pistachios, pinch of crushed red pepper flakes, and toasted coconut. While this gently warms, slice the ripe peach and basil.
- Add the peach slices and basil on top of the goat cheese side and continue to heat until the goat cheese just starts to melt. Fold the empty side of the wrap on top of the goat cheese side to create a half-circle. Remove from heat and slice in half.
- Drizzle the wrap with more honey, basil for garnish and any more of the above ingredients.
Recipe Notes:
This is a loose recipe. Add more or less of ingredients depending on your taste.
